The following Terms and Conditions apply for working with Coachwithmonika. Please read them carefully before purchasing any support.

Introduction

This agreement outlines how coaching can help you achieve your goals. Coaching supports you in resolving issues that hinder you from leading the personal or professional life you desire.

Coaching Relationship

Coaching is a collaborative process fostering an ongoing relationship between the Client and Coach. It supports the Client in establishing new behaviours. The coaching relationship is strengths-based, forward-looking, and collaborative. The coaching agenda is developed and implemented in partnership between the Client and Coach.

The   Coach's role is to help the Client progress towards achieving goals.

Client and Coach Responsibilities

  • Both parties agree to fully engage in the coaching experience.
  • The Client acknowledges that coaching is not therapy or counselling.
  • The Client acknowledges they are not receiving medical, financial, accounting, business, or legal advice and will seek these services separately as needed.

Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep confidential any information disclosed by the other party, whether written or verbal.

The Coach adheres to the IAPC&M Code of Professional Conduct (https://coach-accreditation.services/code-professional-conduct/).

Exceptions to confidentiality include:

  • Publicly known information.
  • Information the Coach is required by law to disclose (including imminent risk of harm).
  • Illegal activity.

According to professional ethics, topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals for training, supervision, or development purposes.

The Coach agrees to keep all conversations and information private and confidential, as allowable by law. All information is stored following GDPR guidelines and destroyed after six years. No personal information is shared without the Client's express permission, except in cases of imminent threat of serious injury.

Coaching Commitment

By entering this relationship, the Client and Coach acknowledge the Client's desire to make a behavioural change or improvement. The pace of change varies.  A suggested commitment would be a minimum of 6 sessions, with the first session being 90minutes and the following 5 sessions lasting no longer than 55 minutes. However, this might vary depending on the Client’s needs and situation.

Coaching Session Procedures

Sessions may occur in person, by phone, video conference, or email, depending on the Client's preference.

Both parties agree to established appointment times.

I understand that coaching does not treat mental disorders, substitute for therapy, or guarantee success. If currently under the care of a mental health professional, I have consulted them regarding coaching. I acknowledge that any decisions or actions are my own responsibility.

I understand coaching may raise personal issues, and I will seek professional advice for legal, medical, financial, business, or spiritual matters when needed.
